Thank you Joe for getting me back on my feet. I was drowning in $34,978.00 in credit card debt. I didn’t know what to do. On May 1st 2007 my husband and I were swimming in debt. Our monthly mortgage and credit card payments were $2,683.93. We were struggling and were very overwhelmed. I took out an adjustable rate mortgage in April 2005 and my payment was $2,103.81. It was a 2-yr adjustable which expired in May 2007 and my payment increased to $2,701.00. I was very frustrated because it was difficult enough for me to make the mortgage payment for the past two years and by increasing the payment with another $597.19 it was impossible to make. In addition, I also had a credit card payment of $353.00, so my total monthly obligations were $3,054.00, I couldn’t afford it. Since I’ve done business with Joe for over 4 years, I decided to contact him to see what he could do. He gave me a free consultation and there were a few challenges that I had to overcome. My credit had suffered due to some outstanding credit card bills and Joe had advised me that before I’m able to get out of the mortgage I have now, I have to get my credit better because I had a credit score of 517 and I needed to be at a 620 to qualify for the loan.

We were very nervous about this mortgage market because we had an Adjustable Rate Mortgage that was going to expire in a few months and our payment would go up by $804.81 a month. We were worried what will happen with the house that we have worked so hard to maintain all those years. Joe we know that we had made the mistake of charging up over $71,245.00 in credit cards and a monthly payment of $2,419.00 just in credit cards. We also know that when we took out a $45,000 equity line to get some help. We thought it was a good idea at the time but it turns out that was another mistake we made.
